Little Snow White Plate II

Today I'm sharing the second release in my Little Snow White folio collection.

For Plate II, I chose to paint the moment the queen pricks her finger while sewing beside an open winter window. Three drops of blood fall upon the snow, and she wishes for a child with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony.

It is here that the story begins.
