The collection begins June 1, 2026.

Why Snow White?
I was drawn to the earlier versions of Snow White, shaped by folklore before the tale became more familiar and increasingly sanitized in later retellings.
Yet what has always moved me is the unspoken mercy within the story. Snow White passes through a frightening forest with thorny undergrowth, yet escapes real danger; even the wild creatures let her pass unharmed. Kindness appears in unexpected places, and through each stage of the tale she moves forward despite repeated attempts on her life, and ultimately triumphs.
In this telling, the story is not a summary, but a sequence of events: jealousy, exile in the forest, refuge with the dwarves, and three attempts on her life by the disguised queen, before it reaches its dark and unexpected ending.
For those curious to read an older version of the tale, “Little Snow White” may be read here.
